I went to Diamond Hut (had never been there before) just to ask some questions about upgrading my engagement ring center stone, and if I wasn't able to purchase a new center diamond then possibly raising the prongs so that the stone that I already have looks bigger. I spoke with Roger who was beyond informative, sincere, and patient, while knowing that I would not be purchasing services that day. He took his time in answering all of my questions, providing me with a level of customer service that I had never received from Zales, Kay or any other jewelry store.
The next day (today) I decided that I would raise the prongs on my ring, but had to go to the Newport Mall location since the repair guy was at that location. My ring was ready in just over an hour and it looks GREAT!! And again, the level of customer service I received was amazing.
And last, TO OTHER JEWELRY STORES: Customer-Service is the KEY to turning potential customers into lifetime customers. Even if I know that at the end of the day, the person working at the store wants me to buy something, I will be more inclined to buy the product if I feel as though the person values my interest and financial situation more than the store's sales goals for the day. Diamond Hut makes their customers feel valued and they don't con you into buying something they know you can't afford. They work with you to find jewelry that suits your needs and your interests. For these reasons, I will never ever buy jewelry from any other store but Diamond Hut.
