Delta Transmissions

Had to replace the torque converter. Cost me over 2K. Trucks works fine now.

I took my car to Delta because it was shifting rough from first to second when the car is cold. Both Tony and Pete were as honest as could be. They told me its an older car and the engine and fluids need to be a little warm for the shifting to be smoother. It does shift smoother when warm. I wasn't sure if I ignored it, I would have a problem down the line. They could have told me the car needed something but they are both too honest for that. This isn't the first time I left Delta without paying a penny. I had another car a few years back that was making a whining sound when I drove it. Other places told me many things with costs up to $2500 being dishonest. Tony drove the car with me in it saying the car shifted perfect and it wasn't the transmission, it was a bad a/c compressor. I disconnected the compressor, the noise was gone and that was the end of it. No charge. Finally, that is the CLEANEST shop I have ever seen in my life. You can eat off the floor! Find that in another service station lol

This place is the WORST. If you need a transmission repaired go somewhere else. I had two transmissions rebuilt through them and they both were done poorly. The last transmission rebuild i had done, the transmission failed 6 months after they installed it. Since they give you a 1 year warranty they "fixed" the problem (after several weeks with the car) and 6 months later (almost a month out of the warranty) the cars transmission went again. Delta's response? All we can do is give you another rebuild for another 3300.00!!! Yea right. I wound up selling the car with the tranny problems and buying a brand new car. I would NEVER deal with this place again. I've spoken to several other people that have had work done to their personal vehicles through this place and they have had the same problems.
