Avoid this deli! I don't usually go to this deli because it's not very close to my house but last week I was passing through Roslyn and stopped in to get a sandwich. I ordered an italian hero with hot peppers oil and vinegar and was pleasantly surprised to see that they put fresh mozzarella on the sandwich. It was great! Since the sandwich was good, on Sunday I had my son call in an order for another italian hero. He also ordered RB with fresh mozzarella. He specifically ordered both sandwiches with fresh mozzarella and repeated the order at least twice - simple order right? We drove the 15 minutes to get there, picked up the sandwiches, returned home to find out that only the RB had fresh mozzarella on it and Italian hero had sliced deli mozzarella. Now you may think this complaint is petty, but when you are in the middle of a project and your kid has homework to do on a Sunday, and your order is simple, it's really annoying and inconvenient to have your order screwed up. When I called to speak with someone and let them know that the order was screwed up, I had to reiterate what happened to two different people: that's annoying. The last person I spoke with was Manny (who was not the owner) who was more concerned about my elevated voice then about the screw up. When speaking with Manny, I was so annoyed with his lack of customer service, that I wanted them to remake the sandwich and then give me my money back. He would not give me my money back, only offered to have another sandwich delivered. Then he proceeded to talk to his coworkers while I am on the phone that I am not allowed to order at this deli anymore. He asks for my address, I give it to him, but before we hang up, I ask him to repeat the order (to make sure he delivers the right sandwich) and HE SAYS THE WRONG SANDWICH - so he was going to deliver another RB not the italian hero!!! THEY DO NOT LISTEN! Just avoid this place.

I always order the hot food and it was good every time. They are really nice and fast.

They always mess up the order. They don't pay attention to the food they make. They use to be good when they first opened then had smoke blown up their ass and now could care less. The chicken cutlets are chewy and gross and just horrible. This place sucks. Make the mistake to order delivery and wait an hour for a huge disappointment.

Great food all american atmosphere

Honestly, we order from here every morning and they always mess up something in our order, they always come late. I am so disappointed in this business- just ordered lunch from there and surprise there was a dead bug in my salad. This business needs to get their shit together. Never ordering or going there ever again. Save your money.
