Deck Master Home Improvement

I hired them for a job on a pool deck. The time frame he gave was way off (there was rain issues, so I accected that). Then came the day of the job. The crew is completely unprofessional, unsupervised and wasted most of the day not even on site. The first two hours they did 30 minutes of work putting cenent down (shotty at best, different cement levels in the posts and one which looked be minimal of any in it) They said they needed to let the cement dry and would be back in an hour/hr and a half max. 5 hrs later, 3 calls to the boss and still a no show. They finally come back 6 hours later and no go right back to work but sat down and ate subway sandwiches for another hr. The did another hour of work and packed up for the day. I then expressed my displeasure with the lack of professionalism and told them that the boss had reassured me twice this week and three times today that he sent extra people tk make sure it was done in one day being a small 6x12 reg wood pool deck job. They said well that's not our probelm, we'll be back tomorrow. I told them about their 6-7 hr break and they said something came up and we work on our time. I the called the boss several times and left a few messages with no response. The finished job is shotty, cement not fixed, gaping hole inbetween stairs and deck where little children could easily fall and hurt themselves. It is a few days later and still calling and leaving messages but no response. I wish they were this non chaulant when it came to calling about who to give the money to. I'm sorry for such a long review but there is just so much wrong from this company. I wouldn't recommend their finished work, work ethic, customer service or attitude to anyone. Headaches

We had a wonderful experience with Deck Master and really love our deck. The workers were reliable, meticulous, quick and hard-working. The owner was very much involved and stopped by our house to visit the job site multiple times throughout each day they were here. Our deck looks beautiful and so far we are extremely satisfied with the Trex, although it's only been a few days. Lou was very patient and came to our house numerous times to work with us as I kept changing my mind with the design. I would absolutely recommend Deck Master to anyone looking for a new deck.

We just finished a very large deck in our building with Deck Master - Louis. Our experience with them was absolutely amazing. Our project started on time and was finished within the timeline Louis had promised. We went with the trex system and the quality of the material and installation are excellent. All the workers working on the project were very respectful and in the end we couldn't be happier.

I don't know who Shane Hurley is and why he tried to do me a favor but I contacted Lou the Owner fro Deck Master, and he returned my call like the same day. We made an appointment to come over and talk about my problem. He understood my situation that I was in a we came up with a solution that fit our both needs. He agree to refund my deposit in monthly installments and as of today was on time for each one. Deck Master stands behind they customers and there work. If I ever need a deck built or repair i be sure to use deck master for my outdoor projects. I would recommend Deck Master to all my friends cause Lou was they when I need them. Hard to find a good contractor that is good at there work and support the clients. Thumbs-Up to Deck Master.

I have done a sufficient amount of work to my home over the past few years so I have experience with many different contracting companies. None of them were as efficient, professional, and focused on perfection like Deck Masters. They ripped out my pre-existing wood deck and replaced it with a beautiful white PVC deck and PVC fencing and built a staircase down to the rest of my backyard that they covered in TREX. They also put solar lighting on each post making the whole yard exquisite at night without racking up any electricity. The owner of the company sat down and went over all my needs with me and together helped me the perfect outdoor space for me, my husband, and baby. He suggested a way to add a gate at the top of the stairs so that I could keep my son and any future kids safe from falls (Turned out to be the best idea). I was more than pleased with the workers who were always on time, hardly if ever took breaks, and meticulous in their work. The job was done more beautifully than I could have imagined. Not only is it now the nicest backyard in the neighborhood to which my friends all ask who did it but it also was one of the only ones that withstood hurricane Sandy with zero damage at all! I would not only highly recommend this business for decks but also for any type of home improvement. Working with these guys was pure ease especially compared to some other contractors I have encountered in the past!
