Very friendly help to get a shoelace replaced. They have a drawer full.
Quite inexpensive, but not so much shoelace choice.

Did a tremendous job on two pairs of shoes, including a pair of alligator shoes that were a little worse for wear. Very pleased.

Been going to David for shoe repair, for jewelry repair, for advice on stained leather for decades. When a rumor spread that he was retiring there was pandemonium in the West Village as so many of us rely on him. Fortunately, he remains in business and he does business the old fashioned way: one-to-one service with warmth and the expectation that the customer will be satisfied and will return. I have yet to bring him a problem he has not solved.
