1.I hired Mr. Lira to handle an employment issue. After receiving the $7500 retainers fee. it was immediately impossible to reach him. Excuses after excuses made by front desk that he's in court. Nine months later, (9 months) he finally returned a call. He stated that they were changing some employment laws and that it would have benefited me better to wait until the changes went into effect. What does returning my calls have to do with employment laws? Which naturally wasn't true. Mr. Lira charged me on three different occasions for preparation of arbitration papers which he never filed. Mr. Lira lied to me about taking my case to court rather than arbitration, well knowing that my job contract agreement, which he had a copy of, states that any conflict with my employer must be dealt with in arbitration. Not only that but arbitration according to my contract must be filed within 90 days of the last day of employment. He was very dishonest to me and in handling my case . His attitude to me on the phone during our final conversation was totally uncalled for, which involved him yelling about needing more money immediately, subsequently he abandoned my case
