I studied Psychology many many years so I thought I knew it all, until I had the opportunity to meet Dr. David Layman. Random things happened for no apparent reasons and one day I had the misfortune to see my 5yr old daughter being crushed by a car on her head and her hips and since then I thought my life would never be manageable ever again until I met Dr. Layman. He is much more than his resume. Besides all his academic accomplishments he has qualities that can not be taught in schools.
Dr. Layman is so human, he is so brilliant, he is always so mentally present with his patients, he genuinely cares, he really feels what you feel and when you feel pain he IS in pain. I never felt like a number.
I thing that his biggest strength is that “HE GETS PEOPLE”, he definitely understands beyond the words. He has a very deep understanding of life and he has a magic way to present it. He always conducts the sessions in a very professional, safe and comfortable way.
Whenever I leave Dr. Layman’s office, I feel REAL, whether or not I feel relieved, good or sad, I still feel REAL. I feel that he brings me in a difficult place where I can be in touch with my deep feelings, with my true self, and helps me so much to leave my mask way behind. He always injects brilliant concepts, different ways of thinking that I carry with me from session to session.
I truly thank my friend for helping me cross paths with Dr. Layman and if you are thinking in investing in yourself, give yourself a gift and meet Dr. Layman.
