!!!!DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!! If I could give them negative stars I would.
Me and my fiancé won a "free" engagement photo shoot with slide show included at a wedding expo we attended together. Meet up with them and took engagement photos.
I came in today to see the photos and the "free" slide show we won and Caroline is horrible!! It took me 2 months and a half to come in because of scheduling, work, and other life events. She was not very welcoming. Caroline said it was a one time viewing but for pictures like those and the price it takes time to think about it. It's not a 1-2-3 decision .She started giving me an attitude saying if I didn't purchase anything now and then she was going to delete the photos. She was rushing me the whole time to make a decision of what package I wanted to purchase for the engagement photos and told her all I wanted was the free slide show that I won at the expo. Then she said we would have $100 credit in the email but the credit was only for packages that start at $540 to $1000. This was just an engagement shoot not a wedding for that amount of money. I was trying to at least order one or two pictures but even 1 picture was $89 and if I got 2 it would be $178 which was half the price of a package so it was not worth it. So why did they not just tell us this in the beginning instead of wasting me and my fiancé's time taking photos.
The prices were ridiculously expensive for me to make a decision on spending that kind of money then and there without my fiancé's consent. I told her this and then she goes on to say "just pay half now and half later when you want to pick them up there is nothing to think about". I told her I need to think about it and talk with my fiancé first. She then stated that "if you don't buy anything today I'm going to delete them and we don't keep photos we delete them and get rid of them". I told her I really need to talk to him first can you please give me more time, and she kept insisting that I text him or call him now so I can make a decision right now. My fiancé is in the military and isn't able to just pick up the phone whenever he feels like unfortunately
With her attitude alone I would never deal with them again.
What kind of "professional photography" place does not keep their photography work of their clients? ?The kind that I would never deal with or recommend to any of my friends or family.
Especially if you are trying to specialize in the wedding business??? So if I lose the portfolio I purchase from you in 25yrs you can not sell me another one?????????!!!!!!???????

I would definitely recommend David Eric Photography to any bride and groom looking for fantastic wedding photos. Caroline was extremely helpful from the beginning of the process, and she and Jerry continue to guide my husband and me as we begin to choose photos for our wedding album. Caroline and Jerry are professional and their skills are exquisite. From our engagement pictures taken in Hoboken, to our wedding photos at Maplewood Country Club, each photo was unique and they knew exactly the right backdrop and pose to get the perfect picture. Caroline and Jerry work in a very timely manner, and I hope to use them again in the future.

Caroline and Jerry are an excellent team! We're so glad we hired them to shoot our wedding in May! David Eric offers great packages and added value at different price points. We also received two pre-wedding engagement shoots - one indoors and one outdoors (a location of our choice!) which allowed us to all get very comfortable together! We got a sense of their shooting style, and they got a sense of what poses/looks we liked best. By the time the wedding day came around they really got the best out of us! Caroline and Jerry were continually responsive, prompt and professional. The wedding day itself ran very smoothly and they easily accommodated our entire must take list. The photos themselves are beautiful and we look forward to enjoying them for years to come! We would highly recommend David Eric!

This group is amazing. I highly recommend them to any bride. They were so easy to work and communicate with before the wedding. On the day of the wedding they showed up on time. They were so professional yet fun and made the day easy. They were hardly noticed during the wedding but still took AMAZING photos. They captured every photo we asked them to capture. They had such quick turn around on the proofs , I had them in weeks of the wedding. The proofs alone are beautiful. These people are so hardworking and really worth the money. Compared to other photographers rates I found them to be affordable but still maintained excellent quality. I highly suggest any bride to use them they won't be disappointed.

Jerry and Caroline were super fun and easy to work with. They take their work seriously without being stuffy and uncomfortable. All the pictures from our pre-wedding sessions and our wedding came out beautiful, and the shoot shack was a ton of fun. We picked up our proofs last week and absolutely love them. All the moments of our wedding were captured beautifully so we will have them forever. Thank you to everyone at David Eric! We look forward to using you again in the future for all our important moments.
