This once was my favorite place to order from, I was a loyal customer I would order literally almost everyday. But I don't know what happen , is there new owners ?? The customer service is now horrible , food horrible, I was in the hospital for food poisoning after eating a salad that wasn't properly clean probably. The new workers have a very nasty attitude, I will unfortunately never buy from this store again. Once you lack proper food safety rules as well as customer service you will lose more and more customers!!

The food is not the problem. The attitudes of the employees are. Very racist if you happen to be white. And if you have a Spanish wife or husband, your food won't be done right. My husband and I have not returned since the summer, and we never will again.
Too many restaurants and delis so overpriced, and such poor service. Better to save money and make your own food.

Inexpensive but freshly prepared meals here. Hot or cold. It was my first time here today and from a lot of people who were waiting in line (and surprised) there was apparently one staff person short, and it was also do to the filming of a movie nearby. Nonetheless, it moved fairly quickly. I don't know anywhere else you can get a Philly Cheesesteak for just $5. I'll definitely be back.

I love daves. I go every morning to get breakfast and lunch. The people are lovely and they remember my order. Dave is nice. The food is always fresh.

Dave's is a really great deli, they have all the usual bodega stuff you need, along with a very good sandwich/salad counter, and some higher end pasta/grocery stuff too.
Friendly owners and good service. Great prices on the sandwiches and coffee.
Also really like that it's a very open clean interior with all glass walls to the street- unlike your average grimy cramped NYC bodega.
