Dash of Class has way more than just a "dash" of class! The professional promotional materials and sample CD helped us focus on exactly what type of atmosphere we wanted at our wedding reception. We have a large, multi-racial and multi-generational family, and we wanted music that would be warm, fun, and friendly to young and old, and simultaneously encourage dancing and interactive games. At the mention of games, DJ Rob's eyes lit up as he offered ideas that were perfect for our party. During our final pre-party meeting, Rob was completely on board with all our special requests, including a light saber salute by the wedding party. Each song mentioned was at Rob's fingertips and playing in the background as we talked. Both Rob and Pete, who assisted him, were warm, friendly and open to discussion. They listened to us and treated our wedding not as one of a hundred weddings, but like it was the special event we felt it to be. We felt secure that Rob was the man to make our reception a success. He did not let us down.
Day of the reception, Rob was a true Master of Ceremonies! He wove together party classics and games, all while keeping the energy building. Rob led dances, made a 100 announcements, handed out a 1,000 giveaways, and handled requests with aplomb. He was great to kids, elderly and every age in between. Rob worked seamlessly with our party planner, the venue staff, and with us, impressing everyone with his quick grasp of events, flexibility, and good humor. Not only were we impressed, but easily half of our guests asked for contact information for Rob and DoC. “Where did you get this great DJ?” was heard over and over for weeks afterwards.
We've hired many disc jockeys for various birthdays and graduations; none came close to the professionalism, friendliness, and talent of Rob and Dash of Class, who exceeded our high expectations and gave us a reception our friends are still referring to as the “Best Wedding Evah!” I recommend them unreservedly.
