The small plates were incredible, but the pasta was lackluster. Maybe it was because I tried the vegetarian option? The pesto was just sorry of flat and bland.

Expensive but incredible coffee. Waiters were well dressed and seemed European, or were at least white people who exuded a subtle hint of foreign-ness, like graduate students fresh from an Italian exchange program where all they did was make espresso all day. You can chillax at one of the tables with friends, and it doesn't seem to get very packed.

Really great place to sit outside in the center of Greenwich village and have some good wine/cocktails and a snack or two. The employees are all so nice!!!

What a shock! Used to be a truly authentic Italian caffe with great pastries, sandwiches and coffee. It has turned into a trendy eaterie like millions of others with overpriced, ordinary food. Full of new clientele presumably blissfully unaware of what a jewel this once was. Goodbye Cafe Dante we loved you.
