The food:
Oysters: Did not like that much, but thanks Steven to help our table.
Crispy Dough Fresh Mushroom Soup: good taste, bit creamy with I believe it was a hit of lime with not that many mushrooms; the crispy dough went well with it.
Pork Jowls: this was served with salad and honey mustard dressing - these were tender and smoky.
Rib, chicken and mash-potato: The prime rib was perfectly medium rare for me very juice with a good taste. The chicken you had the option to have breast or leg ; I had both of and I was surprised to like the juicy white meat of the breast more than the leg. The mashed potatoes were delicious, but know how can you mess some mash potato.

My husband and I dined here on Wednesday, February 10th. We walked in at 9:30pm the information provided on Google said it was open until 10:30pm. As soon as we walked in we were told that the kitchen was shutting down and that we could not sit in the dining room. That was fine with us when we were given menus we were told by the waiter a few times that they had almost let the chef go, and went on and on. At this point I should have left but it was late and after working all day we just wanted to get dinner and go home. We placed an order for baked clams and two chicken entrees. After about 15 minutes we were served our entrees, upon my husband taking one or two bites he noticed the chicken was raw. The waiter had left and the bartender was tending our table and one other table. We explained the chicken was raw and she took it into the kitchen. She came out and told us they were going to make a new one, meanwhile my food was getting cold. After nothing but a mere apology we paid the bill as they were turning off the lights. My husband and I agreed that it was the worst meal and dining experience we ever had and that we would not return. The following day my husband was horribly sick, presumably from the raw chicken. On Friday morning I called to explain this to the manager/owner. He apologized and asked us to come in for dinner on the house. I explained that we were not looking for a free meal but as a small business I wanted them to know what was going on. I felt good about our exchange and was going to leave it at that but then on Saturday I got a call that I sent to voicemail within 5 minutes I had a second call from the same number so I picked up and it was the bartender who had served us. I was astounded that she would call and that the restaurant would allow her to call me directly. She went on about me calling her rude to the manager even after we had tipped her well, asked if my husband went to the ER, etc. Its unbelievable to me the work ethic this business has. The bar area was extremely dirty; had layers of dust and kitchen grease on the tables and Halloween decorations still out. This was my second time dining here the first being in December 2015. I would recommend staying far-far away from this place.

Danny's Steakhouse & Oyster Bar is the best steakhouse in the Flushing, New York area with an amazing variety of mouth-watering oysters from around the world as well as aged, prime cuts of steak. We tried the Blue Point from Long Island, NY (mildly salty), Beau Soleil from New Brunswick. Canada (a delicate flavor with firm meat), and the Kumamoto from Oakland, WA (which has a wweet and creamy flavor). My favorite was the Beau Soleil (we had a second tasting before the steak came out). We tried the Prime Porterhouse for Three (aged) and it was simply delicious with the wasabi mashed potatoes and creamed spinach we ordered on the side. We also tried their stuffed mushrooms, crab cakes, and thick-cut bacon (truly a miracle). Don't forget to try their very light and fluffy cheese cake (from next door)!
