This a small local Dairy Mart, another way of saying a nice Bodega. Its only a block from where I live and the other day I needed a special deli meat for a visiting guest (a request) the closer bagel store did not have so I walked to this place.
Upon entering there were two employees and no one else in the store. I walked to the deli counter and waited. One person was behind the counter banging on something with he back turned and the other was by the cash register cutting boxes.
I waited and waited, the box cutting dude could see me waiting as I was right in front of him but he just kept cutting and the other guy with back turned never turned around . Now you would think the box cutting dude would ask if I needed anything or else let the guy with his back turned that there was a customer. Nope.
I walked out.
I would think a small neighborhood place would be extra friendly to the locals because that is about all the business they would get, being off the main road and all.... but nope.
