Great restaurant! Excellent food and nice atmosphere. My family last visited this place 3 months ago and I still think about that place. It worth the hour drive from home to visit Da Nicola. If I lived close I would visit this restaurant twice a month. I strongly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for tasty Italian food at reasonable prices!

Calamari wasn't all that fluffy, but squid was more tender than usual. The Artichoke appetizer was decent. The sword fish was decent, but not a huge portion, and the piece de résistance was the Tartufo ... that was great, plus the espresso was good. I hope this helps anyone wanting a decent meal in Hewlett LI. Parking was ok, and ambiance and decor were ok but not impressive.

I went to this restaurant twice. The second time on my dinner break from work. The food was great, the staff was very nice, at the time I was the only one eating dinner because they had just opened up. The only bad thing was the cappuccino after dinner, but everything else was great.
The first time I went I was still drinking and had gone in for a double shot of jack daniels before going on a date I was very nervous about. They cheered me on and were very encouraging of my circumstances, the staff is definitely lively and nice.
