Phil recently did a fret level on my G&L Legacy and like other reviewers have said, he does fantastic work. I am so happy with the way my guitar plays now. I can't put it down. I highly recommend bringing your guitars to Phil!

I had Phil perform his magic on 2 brand new, "out of the box" guitars that I recently purchased. The first was a Fender Telecaster Highway One, that played very nicely from the factory. I had a Fralin pickup, a Tone Pros adjustable bridge, and a bone nut installed; along with Phil's neck and fret "set up". The guitar that I got back from Phil is an absolute dream. After Phil's setup, it's become my "go to" guitar.
I recently gave Phil a new Gibson Les Paul Jr., and requested that he install a Wolfetone Meaner P90 pickup, a Jonesy Blues vintage wiring harness with capacitor, "pot", and jack upgrades, a bone nut, a Tone Pros bridge, and his amazing neck/fret setup. This thing does exactly what I wanted it to do. It's now a harmonically rich "tone machine". I'm truly blessed to have the best guitar tech., Phil D'Angelo, only a 1/4 mile away from my home. I will bring all of my guitars, new or vintage, to D'Angelo Guitars. Thanks Phil!

Phil repaired and setup two of my older guitars. He didn't charge very much for some complex electronics repairs, and after Phil completed a custom adjustment and setup, these guitars are now two the most comfortable ones I own. Would definitely recommend Phil for all repairs, maintenance and setup work.

Hello Phil,
I just wanted to drop you a line after having my guitar back for a few weeks. I want to thank you for a masterful job you did on it, considering the neck had more twists than a mountain road. It plays great, tremendous action, great feel. For a 50 year old guitar, and one not manufactured by a well known company, I’m amazed how comfortable it is. By the way, the frets you picked out are just right. Through an amp it has a very distinct sound. Manipulating those slide switch pickups take some getting used to, but the range of sounds is fairly unique. I find I’m playing it more than my Strat, even though the Fender is smoother. All in all I’m really pleased with the way it turned out.
Will be speaking to you soon about getting a proper set up on my Stratocaster.
Thanks again,
Tom

Hi Phil ! I just want to express how happy I am with the guitar setup you did on my Les paul and strat..I just got my les paul standard plus, it didn't sound good and played good out from the box. It keeps getting out of tune, intonation are off and action is high, I was already thinking on selling it until you did the perfect setup! let me tell you, the playability and sound is 10x better from the first time I got it, it never goes out of tune anymore no matter how hard I bend! the action is perfect it plays like butter! Same with my fender strat hss. Now, both of these guitars are gonna stick with me for a very long time!
So, anyone out there needs a perfect setup just go to D'Angelo guitars. You'll never be disappointed. Thanks again Phil !
