The pharmacy staff is beyond obnoxious.

Very rude pharmacy team. Relocated to NYC from Georgia and was trying to transfer medications from one CVS to another. The person with whom I spoke was rude and condescending as soon as I told her one of the medications I was needing refilled. The judgement in her voice was palpable. Regardless of the state transfer and refill laws, of which I was unaware, I will NOT be using this pharmacy once I have a NY doc order the refill. Her tone, impatience, and disregard for my situation was not only demeaning but completely unnecessary. She even hung up the phone on me in the middle of me asking an additional question about another medication. As someone who works in the healthcare industry and knows how patients and clients SHOULD be treated, this was even more of a foul on CVS's part...looks like I'll be moving to one of your competitors. Healthcare is an extremely personal thing and I have a zero tolerance policy for professionals who treat patients in this sort of manner. CVS you should be ashamed of yourself for the way this woman handled this call. If she treated me like this then she most definitely treats other patients in the same manner. Shame on CVS and shame on the management of this location for allowing this type of treatment to happen.
