I switched to this pharmacy because i HATED the one on Washington street. They never could find me in the system, refused to listen to me when i repeated to them what the problem was in their records, and were generally not all that nice.
The Clinton street pharmacy was a breath of fresh air because its not crowded with people, the pharmacists are all incredibly nice, and they even supplied me with a couple of days of my medication to tide me until my doctor called in the official script. I'm still not in the system correctly and its still hard to check me out, but they are really nice about it and it isn't as frustrating when the pharmacists actually acknowledge your existence and treat you like a human.

This CVS is fine.
I'm new to the area and needed a prescription filled. I avoided the big CVS on Washington St because of the reviews and the high volume location. My doctor called it in, I called to confirm about an hour later, it wasn't ready yet, but I got a text 15 minutes later saying it was.
I drove over, no line, 2 pharmacists, both polite. One was more knowledgeable then the other so she answered my questions, even though I did not get her full attention because she seemed busy. That's okay. They had all the other over the counter sore-throat medication and cough drops I wanted, and an all-right selection of soup. The pharmacy is fine.
The 2 employees at the front were stocking shelves, and when I asked if someone was available to ring me up, they pointed to self check out. So minus a star because everyone was busy and didn't quite accommodate me in the nicest possible way, but did accommodate me.
When I called later with follow up questions about my prescription, the pharmacist who I spoke to engaged me and answered all my questions thoroughly.

I like this place now that they stopped selling cigarettes. Safer for kids too.

Very disappointing because they promised to have my medication delivered by 4pm today and they call me at 4:45pm and said that they will not deliver it today because it is drizzling out. C'mon! I work in NYC and had my lunch delivered in harsher weather and CVS pharmacy delivery company refuses to deliver my medications because it is drizzling outside!! unacceptable!! I am going to have my medication to another pharmacy!

- Terrible #61294
For a national retail chain, this pharmacy is terrible. I have gone four times because it's closest to me location-wise and they are so incompetent. They never have my scrip ready and they had the gall to tell me that perhaps my physician who has the same last name as myself, misspelled my last name when they could not find my prescription. There is a young gentleman, who is particularly incompetent that seems to always be working there.
I disagree with one of the reviewers who said they are helpful. They are extremely slow and act like they just opened for business. Meanwhile, I transferred my scrip to another CVS, spent 30 seconds on the phone, they called me back in 20 minutes to give me a courtesy call to let me know my prescription was ready for pick-up.
