I love that store I've been going there for years the pharmacy is awesome and the people are great ... I go to the one in Howard Beach

I went to the CVS pharmacy on Howard Beach this morning October 1rst 2015, and the lady from the cashier didn't trade us as good as other clients! We tried to buy a money order by card and she didn't want to accept the payment by card, while with other clients (white americans) she accepted their debits or credit cards. We need to clarify that me an my husband we look like latinos. She trade us different and at the end she didn't want to sell us a money order, not by cash, not by debit card, and she didn't accept any of our ID's. If somebody can help us with this, thank you! By the way, the money order that we try to purchase was for our daugther school tuition.

As an MD calling to give refills for a patient, the pharmacy tech or pharmacist I spoke to was extremely rude and impersonal. She spoke to me as if I was a friend or an associate, not as a healthcare professional speaking to another professional. She indicated that I should not blame her for not doing her job, which was not at all what I was doing. My only concern was coming to a clear designation of what conversation took place between my patient and herself so that we could assure that no issues like the one that had occurred, would happen in the future. She went on to indicate that she makes more than 200 calls a day to patient's and MD's for refills, which in no way shape or form had anything to do with the individual needs of this specific patient. In this instance her professional decorum lacked any tact and it calls in to question the type of staff that works for such a large pharmacy. I do not appreciate this type of rudeness and attitude from someone who is set to serve the ailing public. I will make sure to recommend that none of my patients use this pharmacy.
