Love the people .

A very good store with very friendly staff, good selection. Once you get used to the do-it-yourself checkout, you'll be okay. And a staffer is almost always near to help you with the checkout if you need it.

This used to be a very nice place. They have parking, they are located right by train station (18th avenue on D line) and they carried good variety of products.
Something happened to it lately (2010). Either change of store management, or change in company management. Whatever it is, this store has been declining ever since.
First they introduced electronic self-check-out (this part is not too bad actually). Then reduced their staff.
Then they changed lay-out of their products and new system makes little sense.
Then they stopped their restocking and go months without renewing popular items. For instance, Neutrogena cosmetics has been scarcely represented for over 4 months, head-and-shoulders line is represented by 1 type of shampoo, Burt’s Bees lip-gloss has been out of stock since summer.
It got to the point that I drive 10 more minutes to get things I use.
