The beautician name Danielle over there is very rude..My friend got her twist done there. In fact i was there while she was getting it done, so then i decided to get my starter locs done there as well . Danielle come up here from Atlanta once a month to do hair from . I texted her to see when she will be available. She told me to come by the shop on Monday , late afternoon or later, of which i agreed to.
During that Monday , around noon I texted Danielle to see if we're still on for that day, but I didn't receive any response back. Luckily I was near the area handling personal matters at Newark city hall So when i was done with that,I went to the salon personally to verify my appointment time with her face to face. She said we can get started right away but I asked her can I still come later that afternoon to the time me and her had agreed upon 2 days prior, since i still had other things accomplish before the day was over. Of which she agreed to again. She took my number and said she will call me when she's available.. Which didn't make since, because we had an appointment, but i went along with it.
So now its 7 pm and i got most of what i wanted done accomplished and have not received a call or text back from Danielle. She must be a very busy woman, so i'm not mad about that , plus we had an appointment..
I showed up at the hair salon at 7:45 and Danielle was taking care of someone else's hair , which is understandable because doing hair is tedious work and its no easy to fit everybody in the schedule. This is where i get mad. I get there at 7:45 , and no one has acknowledge my presence for 25 min. It was 2 beauticians and 2 customers on the chair and another lady who was chatting with them. They all saw me, but no one said I'll be with you in a sec, or welcome back ( since i was there earlier to confirm the appointment) Nothing.. At this this point , at felt disrespected . And decided to get my hair done somewhere else..
