Good enough and inexpensive food, but not exceptional.

Wow. Awesome. We're from Florida and craved Indian and sure enough we got it. Rice needs salt but other than that... Mwuah! Got the non veg dinner comes with a meat choice rice naan(which are huge and homemade) and the chicken tiki Marsala and lentil soup and a dessert. Oh and a samosa for 12 bucks. It was awesome. Very good and I highly recommend it.

Canned chickpeas, frozen spinach, white rice to go. Ordered a nan and they didn't put it in the bag. Awful food - fast, but awful. Never going back although its 2 blocks from where I live. Better to spend more money and have tasty Indian food, - or go to the Pakistani place on the other side of 37th if you want a really good cheap eat.

It's easy to miss but, if you're in the mood for delicious Bengali food, this will be worth your time. This is an incredibly cozy restaurant, also welcoming on one of Manhattan's busiest streets. The food was fresh (at least the few times I've been here), the dishes are "just right" spicy, simple menu, very clean facility. Seating may not be plentiful but, i wouldn't let that stop me from paying this place a visit.
