Okay food but horrible management. Delivery staff is extremely passive aggressive towards customers (especially women) and was informed they had a spat before delivering my food. Definitely not worth the drama for subpar food. There are dozens of other indian restaurants to choose from and this one is not it.

Good Indian joint. Although it looks small on the outside there is plenty of space. The food is good and I recommend ordering the Naan. Great location.

When I first had Cumin in 2004, I was very disappointed as I detailed on Yelp. A decade later we tried Cumin again after the family was bored with the the restaurants in the area. They've improved greatly and we're pretty happy with the food. We probably order here once every week or two. I've tried many of the curries and I'm partial to the Madras and Vindaloo. The Tikka Masala is good as well. The only item I think could use work is their Vegetable Samosa, which can be a bit odd and greasy. Overall I've not had a bad meal from Cumin in the past year and I look forward to whenever we can order from this restaurant.

I don't know what these people are talking about! We LOVE this restaurant! We've been here several times and have loved every occasion. In fact, I am so pleased to come here as the East 6th Street "Indian Row" Restaurants have sooo lost their quality.
Saleem and his staff are sweet and courteous, the food is excellent and serve piping hot and the restaurant is always clean and nice.
Keep it up Cumin - you'll always have satisfied customers!!!

Food was supposed to be here in 1 hour but ended up arriving in about 15 minutes which is the only reason for the 2 stars. I ordered: chicken tikka masala with batmin rice, garlic and cheese nan, and rice pudding. Indian food is all about flavor and I couldn't taste a darn thing! Almost as of someone forgot to add those delicious indian spices! The chicken was cooked well but there was absolutely no flavor. The nan was HORRIBLE. Over cooked and, once again, zero flavor. The rice pudding... same story. Way too over priced for the crud I got. Not ordering from here again!
