Crystal Nails

Suzy does my nails every two weeks.... Am very happy with the service, so the shop must have made some improvements based on the dated reviews. I've been going there for quite a while now. Give them another try.

Worst experience in a nail salon I have ever had! They spent 1/2 the time trying to talk me out of acrylics, even after I explained it wasn't an option (not that I don't like gel nails, but price is an issue). The pedicure massage and scrub was great, the pedicure sucked. The woman who did my nails was either new or just bad because it took forever, she didn't shape them evenly, and several times she would have to go back and redo a step. It takes me an hour, hour and a half at MOST to do my own nails. She took nearly two hours. And she kept trying to get me to change the nail color ("good for toes, but maybe too bright for nails?"). What happened to the customer's always right? Overpriced ($50 for full set of acrylics with NO TIPS- mine were old and needed replacing.) too! I would suggest driving over to Linden- Nail CA Perfection II is on Wood Ave. Great service and reasonable prices ($25 for acrylic full set replacement)!

I wouldn't even give this place a star, horrible service! This is my second time here for eyebrows and they mess it up twice. The first time I was here over two years ago and the lady was so reckless she poured wax in my eye. This time she was too rough, my whole forehead was red which is not even part of eyebrows, she slapped aloe all over my forehead and called it a good job. Besides all that she was completely unprofessional, I left without paying!!! Stay away if you care about the accuracy of work, their nail job is not better.

Wouldn't go anywhere else!
I have been going to this salon for years and have nothing but positive things to say! The ladies are very friendly and professional, greet you by name if you go often enough, and I always love the way my nails turn out no matter which person does them. To address previous comments about the prices...over the years I've been to salons in Rahway, Linden, and Westfield, and in my opinion, this salon is by far the best value. Additionally, after a few months, they started to consistently discount my fill-ins (quite a bit!), as a way of saying thank you for my repeat business. Even when the salon is not busy, sometimes two ladies will do my nails at once, and if I can get out the door in half the time, I'm all for it. They are very generous with the massages (during AND after!), and also frequently give out coupons, especially during the holidays. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I was going for years, with much satisfaction. Now that they set up shop next door, they have higher prices and hidden charges. I went today for a pedicure, which was lovely, and ask the girl to concentrate on two small calluses one on each toe. When I went to pay in the end they charged me $8.00 ADDITIONAL dollars for Callus removal! $25.00 for the pedicure and $8.00 for the calluses! I could have gone to my podiatrist and had them removed through my health insurance.
ASK for prices before you have anything done! If they can understand you! I have decided not to return.
