Croxley's Great American Ale House

I've been to this place over 200 times in 4 years, I am an expert in describing the place. You can go here for good wings and good beer selection, but dont consider anything else, esp. when its busy. The bartenders always have a snotty attitude here, and they never staff more than 2 waitresses on a single shift, even when every table is taken. The service is slower than slow, they have all kinds of fine print and rules with the 10 cent wing special that always cost you more out of pocket than you'd expect.

Recently my wife and I ate here before taking the train to see a concert in the city. We ordered a burger and a turkey burger. The idiot waitress came back and admitted she tore the check and the chef couldnt read what she wrote, instead of going over the whole order, she just confirmed what kind of cheese. After 55 minutes, and missing our train, we finally got our food, which was far from what we ordered. And our waitress was so busy that she didnt even have time to check on us to see if everything was ok.

I argued with the manager and got him to comp one of the burgers, but this was just bad service!!

I will never go back to this place unless its to get a beer and some wings, and will never go there when there is more than 10 people seated or in the bar, its not worth the frustration when there are a dozen other places a block away from this place.

Nice atmosphere, great wings & Sports on the TV ..............what more can you ask for

I came here for the super bowl package that they had. It was slow at first as the greeters did not really know what was going on and what tables went to what person as it was reserved seating. So other than this time delay everything else went smoothly. The food was decent but due to the fact that it was buffet style it was a bit bland. But i admit that as soon as the wings were done or any of the trays for that matter, a new one was brought out pretty quickly. The reason i give it four (would give five but for the wait and the taste of food) the waitress and service was amazing. I never had to wait more than a few minutes max for a beer and with open taps as part of the package i would have thought it a mad house. Our waitress was amazing i would post it but forgot her name but i made it a point to tell the manager how great a job she was doing. I would deff come back with friends to do this again, the price could not be beat and it was run efficiently and staff was friendly.
