Crowne Plaza Newark Airport

I was subjected to 2 hours of a fire alarm going off because some ninny muggins decided that 4 am was the perfect time to "accidentally" pull the fire alarm. Of course nobody on staff could figure out how to disable the alarm after the fire department cleared the building. Why should staff be familiar with equipment? The upside was we all got to witness a fist fight in the lobby.

Convenient location. Free shuttle to the airport every 20 minutes. Great view, can see the airplanes through the window in the room. Breakfast not included.

Typical Crowne Plaza rooms, refrigerators, mostly clean, friendly staff, satisfactory beds. The location is fairly close to the airport with 24 hour shuttle service. Very limited access to food options outside of the hotel. Parking is paid. Location is very industrial and close to major highways. No proper sidewalks for guest to walk to nearby restaurants.

Worst stay ever.
I could not believe that, as a guest, they had me pay daily to park my car in the hotel parking. This is madness!
Called about 2 AM about internet problem. I forgot to ask a question, called back within maybe 5 seconds, nobody would answer my call.
I try to put a review on their website because it wasn't bias towards them, it got rejected.

I paid for two queen needs and got two doubles. The food was very expensive. Tv wasn't working, when I called the front desk they sent a man to fix it, he walked in turned it off & on and walked out I had to chase after him to tell him it still wasn't working, he cursed under his breath in front of my children. Over all I will NEVER stay here again.
