Crif Dogs

Awesome place. Not for big groups. Has around 7 tables. Great hotdogs with unique tasty twists. Not expensive.

Very locals with a hangouts kinda vibe. Great service at the counter with a friendly smile and conversation. Come here for your hot dogs cravings. I'm a fan of their bacon cheddar dog and their cheese chilli dog. The bacon had a nice crunch and was matched up well with the wonderful snappy hot dog. Great fries and onion rings as well. Go for the fries with a cheesy chilli toppings. Great spot. I'll be back.

Great food. Gets loud at night. Prices are decent.

Crif Dogs is one of those places you should try once, as its a an idelic hotdog joint. Kind of a punk dive skater vibe.

Their menu has an eclectic array of toppings to satisfy the most adventurous eater. Also on the menu are tator tots, which is a must have whenever I can find them. They are fried to a nice golden brown crisp and are packed with flavor.

Sadly the chili dog I had lacked any kind of enthusiasm. While the dog itself had a nice snap delivered with each bite, the chili felt as if it was warmed from a can.

They do offer a nice selection of beers and serve up RC Cola instead of the regular cola suspects. I thought this was a nice touch.

Well since this place was on the same street as our hotel was, I knew that I would have to come by and try one of their dogs.
It's a nice place in a basement with a speakeasy connected to it by a telephone booth! That's not something you see every day!
I was very sad to see that their dogs weren't bigger than a regular dog, but it was still very good.
A little expensive for what it is, but so is everything in NYC, compared to Montreal...
At least the place was comfortable enough that we could take our winter coats off!
Great selection and nice dig overall!
I wish I could have tried everything on the menu.
