Had fun the water was too low to canoe to Nomahegan Park. Was able to paddle to end and back in 2 hours. My son did not paddle he is 13 and autistic so he just sat on front of canoe and talked about chipmunks.

Great place for families with small children. We rented a double kayak & had an enjoyable, relaxing trip up the Rahway river for a couple of hours with 2 kids. Good "training" ground to get the basics of kayaking right before heading out for longer trips & more challenging rivers.
