The best I've had just about anywhere! When you walk in, you feel like you stepped into a real Mexican restaurant, not some place made to look like a Mexican restaurant! And most importantly, the food is the genuine article. No BS. I'm heading there right now!

In my opinion, the only great Mexican food around. I saw tortillas being hand made by a Hispanic lady. The burrito and enchilada on the menu were amazing. Goodbye Chipotle!

Moved to the area a year ago and finally tried this place last week on the advice of two people who have lived in the area for many years. They highly recommended it, and perhaps they raised my expectations too high, but I didn't find it to be anything special.
They do have excellent chips and salsa as a courtesy when you sit down, but the portions were small, unexciting, and the salad consisted of blah iceburg lettuce (although the dressing was very good).
Unlike some of the reviewers, I thought the atmosphere was very nice. It is a total dive, but in my experience most of the best Mexican joints are dives. The outdoor seating was wonderful for the weather we had. The service was just average.
