Reviews to Courtyard Newark Liberty International Airport
I stay at Marriott hotel very frequently. This one is frankly disappointing. They have a contract with some of the airlines to provide rooms for their flight crews, so they don't need to try very hard for their regular guests. Expect to be greeted by someone who pauses in the middle of checking you in to answer the phone. Expect to wait 10 minutes for the attendant at their bistro to wander out if the back to sell you coffee. This is not a shining example of Marriott quality.

$8.50 for a breakfast sandwich. Understaffed, and you can hear the traffic outside.
EDIT: My father had trouble sleeping due to the plane takeoffs at the Newark Airport. The sound isolation is truly awful.
No breakfast buffet, complimentary morning coffee, or vending machines.
My father and I paid $11 for a small coffee, a medium coffee, a blueberry muffin, and a bagel at the counter in the lobby.

It's clean, quiet (considering you're next to EWR and a bunch of highways), staff is nice. What else does a traveler need? Oh. And there's a pool

Look at where this hotel is on the map - massive number of highway entrance/ exit ramps all around - means you're trying to find the one path into the place among 65 mph traffic... it totally confused both mine & my wife's GPS's... at least try to drive in the day (or best, take a shuttle or taxi)... the usual good Courtyard experience one you get there

Super staff. Very accomodating and friendly.
Location is terrible for surrounding amenites, but again, the staff is wonderful.
