Court Square Diner

Great food, great service, great place!

Best place to eat in New York without a doubt!!!

Court Square Diner is old school NY in all the right ways, and is everything you could want out of a diner.

I started coming here when I first moved to LIC and have never been disappointed. The breakfast usuals are all solid. I am a big fan of their burgers. My standard order has become the chicken souvlaki pita, which is much better than it should be.

You know those inserts in diner menus that list the weird daily specials? The "who the hell would ever order this at a diner" list? Well last time we went, we ordered a gazpacho starter and rosemary chicken as an entree, just to try something new. And you know what? They were pretty damn good! Even the gazpacho...actually...especially the gazpacho.

There are occasional consistency issues with certain dishes. And I have had one bad thing - the turkey burgers leave something to be desired. But given the universally friendly service (at all hours), the 24 hour delivery and the way better-than-expected dessert options, this is four stars all the way.

Great delicious food. Never come back here because they mixed their tuna with chicken the last time I came here (3 years ago). Caught an allergic reaction on the spot & was forced to pay my bill 100% plus a tip.

Had delivery from this establishment. Side salad was cold and fresh. Ham steak was HUGE. Had a side of mashed potatoes and corn on the cob, also delicious and a hefty serving. I couldn't finish it all. On top of that I had a slice of cheesecake and 2 sodas. For under 25 bucks delivered this was a fantastic meal and worth the price. I look forward to dining in soon.
