My grandmother was insulted and humilated by some guy walking around with a camera asking if they wanted to be in his movie. What movie. She was there for a private shoppimg experience yet this jerk harrased her. After a quick google, it seems he does this all the time. I may not renew the family membership.

Been going here since it opened up. Very convenient location. Only issue I have is that the lines can get hectic sometimes.

Costco is Costco, membership required! large portions of everything you may need.
Organic: chicken, fish, spreads, and anything else you can think of.
Other food: chips/dip/beer - good for parties etc.
Produce is not very cheap...
appliances and electronics are okay
often can find discounted tickets to movies, ski resorts and alike.

On the weekends costco is a real madhouse. This is kind any Costco. You can buy enough toilet paper to last you several months or buy so much of one food that you're never going to finish.
Because this is in Manhattan you will have to pay for parking. If you don't have a car, which is the case with most living in the city, then you can get a cab early easily get a cab to bring your months of food home.

I don't know why but I love checking out Costco when I travel. This Costco is unique in that it's in an urban setting. Thus location seemed a bit smaller than the suburban locations. Even as a visitor it was easy to figure out his to get there. As an aside, there are great views from the upper levels where other stores are. The food court had the usual items.
