Cornerstone Academy for Social Action

Although many students say "C.A.S.A is bad... Don't come here... it's a bad school... I hate it here... everyone is disrespectful...blah blah blah", being in this school was a wonderful experience. I wish Mr. Bowman, could create a C.A.S.A. high school. Personally, your experience depends on how you manage yourself, how passionate you are about your goals, and what you get involved in. Overall, M.S. 462 is THE BEST, and I'm not typing this to sound like a school pet, it's the sweet truth for me, and the ugly truth for most students who are seeking for excessive attention and trouble. This is a great school, that any child would wish to attend. Your experience all depends on how you interact, and trust me, if you choose the right path, you'll see C.A.S.A as a second habitat, a family, and a dream come true.

Teachers care about our academics and push us to do our best at all times. They encourage to always try and to never give up on something that we want. They give up their own time to help us with something that we didn't understand or need to clarify.

Casa is a school of learning and loving. We are all big one happy family. They yell at us but its for our own good. They do it because they love us. I have been in this school building for 8 years and i want to continue going hear till high school.

I myself love CASA middle school. It has given me a very creative experience and made me feel welcome in my adolescent hood. If this school could be expanded to a high school I would be ecstatic! i really would love to stay in such a welcoming, loving, and supporting environment. And i bet many other would love to as well! I hope that many kids after me enjoy there hopefully more than three year experience at this school. Cause I sure have.
