Corner Café & Bakery

Had lunch here by myself. A crab cake and chicken skewers. Was fabuu, filling, and hot. $12 with a cup of coffee.

Nice place for a snack

It's a little pricey, but so is everything in the area. The food is always fresh. I work in the area and it's my go to for a great egg and cheese bagel in the morning.

I was on the Upper East Side running errands and I was waiting on my bus to come and I had 10 minutes to get some coffee. So I had two choices and they were go to this place that was across the street from the bus stop or walk 2 blocks to get to a Starbucks and possibly miss my bus. I selected going to Corner Cafe and Bakery. From the outside it seemed pretty full and like a good choice. I walked in and it smelled absolutely divine. Got up to the cashier asked if they could make a cafe mocha with soy milk. She said yes. All the employees so to want to rush you in and out. I got my drink and hopped on my bus in time. My bus pulls off and I take a sip of my mocha. They made me a hot chocolate (or the weakest coffee) . Maybe if they weren't in a rush they would have gotten my drink right. I spent 6 dollars on something that didn't even taste remotely close to what I asked for.
