Mr. Nam is one of the most honest and hardworking mechanicsa around. I completely trust him with my car. I know when I take my car here to get work done, it will be done well and at the best price. My car is always done quickly and running better than when I brought it in. I highly reccomend this shop!

I used to take my car here because they are pretty quick to do oil changes. Also the owner and some of older mechanics are very friendly. However, they've been hiring new people (younger mechanics) and my experiences have been terrible (improper jobs done on my car) on two separate occasions! And last time they forgot to tighten drain plug and caused the oil to spill on my driveway. It would've been more forgivable if they admitted the mistake and at least apologized. Now I need to find different shop to take my car to.

Firestone wanted to charge me $476.19 to replace the brake pads and coolant in my car while Corner Auto Repair (AKA 자동차 병원) replaced the brake pads for $130 and said I could wait another rear before replacing the coolant.

When we pulled into Corner Auto Repair, the proprietor Mr. Nam wasted no time in examining all aspects of the car with us. He quickly ascertained that the front pads were fine and only the rear pads needed replacing. He was also happy to quote prices for other auto body work on the car. I also asked him to replace the coolant since Firestone said I needed it.

Corner Auto Repair replaced the pads in maybe 30 minutes. After fixing the brakes, Mr. Nam said that we could go another year before replacing the coolant and then went on to explain at length (albeit in Korean) how since our Mazda3 had an aluminum engine, it could go longer before replacing the coolant. Total cost out of pocket was $130 without any hidden fees.

Overall Corner Auto Repair represents something that seems to be hard to find these days: an honest and courteous mechanic who is guided by his years of experience rather than computers and meaningless certifications.
