Corneal Associates of New Jersey

Had my LASIK procedure this past week and have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Perl and everyone involved at Corneal Associates of New Jersey! Everyone I dealt with was very knowledgeable in all that needed to be done to prepare and execute my procedure and pleasant to deal with. I was impressed with the office from the first time I came for my initial appointment. The actual LASIK procedure was quick and stress-free with everyone setting a relaxed tone during a time when I was a bit nervous. I would highly recommend Dr. Perl and Corneal Associates of New Jersey! Thanks for all you have done!

I had a double Dsaek corneal transplant done by corneal Associates and I can not adequately express how the procedures have totally changed my life. Dr. Perl, Dr Miza and Dr. Moses gave me the "gift of sight." Over the past few years my vision had been getting gradually worse, and I did not really realize the extent to which I was not seeing until after the first surgery. Over a period of a few days my vision gradually grew better and better. The doctos were caring and compassionate and experts at their craft. I just cannot say enough good things about my experience. I would highly recommend that if you are having problems with your vision don't be afraid take the plunge and have the professionals here take a look at your eyes and start living in full color.

I had LASIK about a month ago and Dr Perl and his staff did a great job. The day following the surgery I saw 20-20 in one eye and 20-15 in the other. I went for a check up a week later and as Dr Perl expected, both eyes were 20-15. I am extremely pleased with the procedure.

As for the procedure itself, it was a little uncomfortable but that was expected. I wouldn't say it hurt, but it certainly was uncomfortable for a few minutes. The laser only runs for a few seconds and I expected that to be the worst part, but the preparation was the worst for me... specifically when they are cutting the slits and washing the eyes before the laser. Other than that, it was exaclty what was expected.

For a few hours after the surgery I was also pretty uncomfortable with my eyes but 5 hours later I could open them and even see across the room to the TV (although my eyes were sensative to the white of the hockey ice!). The following morning I woke up to go to my next day check up before work and I felt like I was seeing every individual blade of grass. The vision is better than when I wore contacts.

I haven't experienced any dryness yet and am not quite sure if I am seeing lights (or "halos") at night any different than before.

I would 100% recommend this procedure and especially Dr Perl. When I'm on the golf course and I now see balls that other people can't follow, I find myself thinking from "worst to first"!

Couldn't wait to finally have the procedure performed. Woke up the next morning with better than 20/20 vision. The office staff was courteous and I am very pleased with the entire experience. Much thanks to Dr Perl and staff for all of your professional service!

I can see!!!!!!......... Without contacts or glasses!!!!!! No more taking my contacts out every night.......no more scratched up glasses I could barely see out of....no more buying contacts, solutions, and glasses every year!!!!!
