I asked for $40 co-pay check up. I also asked for HPV vaccine. I asked Dr. Joel M Moskowitz and his nurse does my insurance cover it in full? They said "Yes".
So I paid $40 and left. A week later I got $10 extra charge. They called to let me know but that's after they charged my card already. Then a week after that I got a bill from Enzo Lab (a place where this doc works with for lab test) for total of $790. My $40 visit became $840. I have to call the lab to tell them I have an insurance, which is the nurse's or the front desk person's job to pass along my insurance information.
