Consulate General of the Russian Federation in New York

These guys are doing a great job! I decided to write a review because for the past several years I had to go to Russian Consulate 3 times and I have always received an exceptional service. People are very polite, helpful and highly professional. If you stay focused and read carefully info on their website, have all necessary documents on you, fill out forms at home if possible, make an appointment on-line, if necessary - then you should have no problems with paperwork whatsoever! Keep up a good work guys!

I had an excellent experience with renewing my passport. Everyone was extremely polite and very helpful. However, before going there, make sure to read all information on the website.

My family and I were dreading coming here because of some bad reviews on here. But we had a very positive experience!! Everyone who worked there was very helpful. Just treat the people who work there with respect and they will treat you with respect in return!!!

Terrible place, awful service, everybody is SO rude and disrespectful. Every time I'm visiting this place I'm happy I left Russia! OMG everybody is like hating you with no reason! Why?!?

I truely think the service is great over there, I had been there on May 21 to apply for my russian passport, arrived on time but they let me in a bit late which was OK, the teller was concerned that I was let in late which I liked that she cares, she was very nice and smiling, bad thing she said the passport will be ready in 3 months but it is ready now and I cannot wait to go pick it up, I wish they would say start checking in 2 weeks :) I would plan my visit to motherland earlier which could have been better financially even but it is OK, I still have time to go during summer.
