Conrad New York

Worst night of my life at this hotel. I had pre-booked from another hotel because that was full, and was promised the room on arrival (5am morning time NYC at -16 Celsius). On the way a taxi driver sexually assaulted me, and when I arrived at the Conrad New York shaking, crying and in desperate need of hospitality and a room - the receptionist Krsheena told me "No, no passport no room." After explaining the situation, she did not change her mind. In the end, after an hour of proving I was who I said I was, Instagram stalking me?! Checking for a FaceBook that I don't have... I was allowed a room, (I was obviously paying for all of this). Never ever going to go back, not even to a Hilton hotel. Worst ever experience here. BEWARE!!!

Lobby is great. Rooms are spacious and luxurious. Staff during breakfast at Altrio were courteous.

If any of you are looking for really good hotel deals I would check out HotelRaven. Com I saved a ton of money using that site.

Can not review the price, as I stayed on points. The rooms are great. The location isn't ideal. They have a huge bathroom, but no bathtub. They let you choose your amenity kit, which was kind of cool.

I got a room for a birthday staycation. Loved the location and accommodations as a local; easy access to Brooklyn was great. The only downside was the occasional sound from the ferry and bass from movie theatre.in spite of these things, I was able to sleep all day thanks to a very comfy bed and black out curtains. I loved the walk in shower. Service was great. Would definitely come again.
