Concentra Urgent Care

Not sure if I am spelling her name correctly but Dr. Lomita was wonderful! She went through everything with me thoroughly to make sure I got the right treatment. The staff was friendly and the wait was very short. Great, great service!

2 hrs of waiting then told they can't help me. So I called ahead of time to see how busy they were I said I was in a car accident hurt my head and back and wanted to be checked out. The girl on the phone said they were not busy and to come right in. When I got there I waited at the desk for about 10 min. for the receptionist to get off the phone I told her I called a few minutes ago and I was in a car accident earlier this morning hit my head and hurt my back. She gave me a ton of paperwork to fill out and said to give her my insurance card and photo ID. I do this she looks over my papaer work tells me to have a seat. About an hour later I get called up again told to pay a $65 co-pay and fill out more paperwork, then I get to have a seat again. Half hour later the Medical Assistant comes out to call on someone and says wow you have been sitting there for a really long time, you are here for Urgent Care right? I say yes and she says she will be with me in a minute... 20 minutes later a new medical ssistant comes out and I ask her how much longer my wait will be since we are now going on 2hrd of waiting. She tells me the front desk will let me know. A few minutes later i hear my name called and I am told that they "don't accept car accidents" I said why wasn't i told this when i first came in and said why I was there. She told me maybe I didn't really hear what you saod. , then proceded to say on a ligher note "here is your co-pay check back"... Needless to say i had a few choice words to say to them and walked out.. I would NEVER go back here again.

I went here this morning for a tetanus shot and for the dr to a look at an infected cat bite on my hand. I went right around opening time was in and out within 35 min with just 2 people ahead of me, though by the time I left there were several people in the waiting room. To save time I printed out the forms at home (from their website) and just had to fill out one quick checklist in the office
Dr. Paz was my doctor and he was very nice and had great bedside manner. The front desk lady and the nurse(?) who administered my shot were also friendly and pleasant.
With the coupon, my visit + shot came to $140. I have no idea if that's average or expensive but I don't have insurance and I was in a rush so I couldn't afford to be picky.
Overall I was very happy with my visit.
