- Excellent #75650
Folks:
I have been in this business for almost 26yrs (since 1990). And never gotten any problem with my customers that I could not resolve amicably. Except this issue with Mrs. Deborah marred with both lies and zero option for resolution. I had wanted to ignore her ranting /lies peddled inform of complaint but on a second thought I remember that lies repeated very often even with foolish consistency tend to assume the aura of truth. In the same token my people say that a venomous snake which was encountered by a lone witness is often dismissed as a boa constrictor…I agree with that assertion. Therefore let me state the facts:
(1) Toshiba c655…DC jack replacement/fresh re-image/backup & restored/Bios password removal-$120 only.
(2) Toshiba M115-virus removal/unsupported apps /. Wi-Fi card was bad. $80. WIFI card (NIC) replacement and configuration extra $25. She declined.
(3) Toshiba satellite Blue—recommended – uneconomical to fix- No charge.
Lie #1 Mrs. Deborah did not buy any laptop from my store. She brought 3 laptops (not 4) for repairs.
Lie #2: Mrs. Deborah declined antivirus protection on the 2 laptops-$60/yr each.
Lie #3: Mrs. Deborah did not spend $600 in my store. She spent $200 for both.
I even forgot to mention that Mrs. Deborah already sent these laptops for repair to another shop on May 3rd, 2015 where they charged her $189.09 for diagnostics alone which I waived before coming to me.
I diagnosed the 3 laptops for FREE instead of $45 each since she had the potential to fix all three. After diagnostics, I called Mrs. Deborah informing her about my findings. She approved the #1 & #2 with the associated prices to fix them. I called Mrs. Deborah informing her that the laptops were ready for pickups. She came and tested the 2 laptops in my store and was satisfied. Thank God Mrs. Deborah admitted that the two worked in my store when she tested them.
Couple of days or weeks later Mrs. Deborah called my store to complaint that the first laptop was not connecting to the internet but connected in my store. That the second one was not connecting to the internet either. I knew the first was user problem since it connected in my store. The second one did not have working WIFI which I told her and offered only $25 to install and configure but she declined. Regardless, I offer her to either bring them back to me to show her or I will come to her house free-of-charge to show her the problems. She declined both offer and threatened to go to the BEST BUY. I told her you have a warranty with me still why would you pay somebody again? She hung up.

Two days later Mrs. Deborah and the husband came into my store with the two laptops in question. The husband asked me what I could do for them since he was aware of the whole situation. I started with number 1 which had internet connection problem. It connected freely to the internet in one touch. I showed him what was wrong trying to connect from home. He thanked me. On the second laptop, I told him about the bad wifi but offered to install and configure it FREE while they wait. I did that. Tested working. I even installed and configured antivirus protection for the two laptops FREE-Imagine that just to satisfy Deborah. The husband shook my hand so hard depicting satisfaction and both walked away.

What did I get from Deborah? Derogatory statement posted on the web. With extra ordinary claims come the requirements of extra ordinary evidence. I have a copy of my invoice intact incase push comes to shove.
Like I said before in another expression. If you ignore scrotal swelling, it grows into elephantiasis of the scrotum that’s why I am taking my time to debunk this allegation. Ordinarily, I will dismiss this as mere ranting.
People can be ungrateful!!!

- Terrible #75651
I took 4 laptops to this place in the beginnining of November 2015, a man by the name of John told me about his credentials and even claimed that Best Buy - Geek Squad actually outsource their work to him, which I later found out was not true.... When I dropped off my laptops, John claimed he will finish the work in 24 hours, when I was called and was told 2 of the laptops were ready for pick up, but the other 2 had motherboard issues and not worth fixing...Well, I got the 2 laptops home and they crashed within 2 hours and returned them and John found other things wrong and charged me more money... Long story, short...I returned 3 more times and each time a new problem with laptops... I finally got frustrated and had my husband deal with John in February 2016 and John promised to fix all problems and included antivirus software too. Well, it is April 2016, I have no working laptops and that antivirus he threw in expired in March 2016... I took the laptops to Best Buy on April 15th and found out John never fixed my hard drive and I must pay another $200 to get my 1 laptop fix... If anyone reading this, PLEASE, take your business to a reputable company.
