Folks, you have hot food service on premise, can you be business smart and have a cashier by the hot food area? I guess you are focus on something else. Last sunday (super Bowl) imagine the line at the supermarket cash register, I place an order for hot food and the person send me to pay at the cash register where people with full shopping carts and wait there untill the food gets cold. There is no way Im making that line I told the person serving my order. I asked where is the cashier and she responded if I dont want to go and pay at the supermarket line I can leave. she didnt finish saying that and I was walki.g out the door. All the food was served and packet to go already. tips for the manager/owner: have a cashier on that register that will espedite the revenue on that department, use friendly people to interact with the customers, makr sure the.staff is trained on food safety hadling and food safety hazard. Light up the place, use better light bulbs and clean the area more often, you follow this and you will stay in business. The bad service and the inconvenie.ce to.the.customers will sink the hot food area.
