Not the greatest atmosphere. When you leave Compare Foods located on Beach 20th street, Far Rockaway. One has to question themselves, why should I support a neighborhood store. It feels like you're going to a nightclub with aggressive coat check. You have to check you bags even personal bags in at the front door. You are than given a number tag and still followed around the store. Not too many complaints about food selection or merchandise. Compare Foods do try but differently not Trader Joe's or Whole Foods. P.S. stay away from the evening until closing shift. The day shift is much better.
