Dirty, and horrible employees attitudes. We had previous encounters with the store manager, Benny, that fell very short of pleasant. My family made three complains regarding this merchant requiring ID with the purchase using credit card as a method of payment, which is in the violation of consumer privacy, as well as MasterCard agreement. Yet the manager of this place, Benny, is not even aware that it is against his contractual obligations with Mastercard to require identification with the purchase using my signed Mastercard as a method of payment. I spoke to MasterCard customer service and have obtained the copy of the contract that is being violated. Thank you.
NOTICE TO BUSINESS: As a result of those encounters and the store practice on requiring ID with credit card purchases, we stopped using the store that is right next to our house for all but the most urgent and low ticket items. I believe we are not the only household in our building who switched stores ever since Compare Foods purchased/renamed Associated. our grocery expenses are in the range of $450-500/month, i.e. close to $6,000 a year.
