Joe and his wife were very professional. They were recommended to me by the nursing home. They provided the services that they promised. I recommended them to a friend and there was a miscommunication (understandable during a difficult stressful time) and Joe worked through the issue and all was well.

Community Funeral Home and Joe Fantasia earned my heartfelt appreciation for their efficiency during my recent bereavement. My husband Bill's death, while expected was, as so many discover who must watch a loved one suffer, a terrible relief. But it was also a great loss. I admire and appreciate Joe Fantasia's amazing ability to handle all the sad but necessary duties related to death--the cremation, obtaining the death certificates, meeting with me to deliver my husband's ashes. Joe Fantasia did all this without adding the burden of hovering and plying me with empty platitudes or words that offer no balm to the grief stricken. Joe and Community Funeral Home are the best. I recommend them to all who need the best--both kind and cost efficient--funeral help when a loved one passes because that is what they provide.

Even though I only met with Joe for a consultation, I just felt that I had to do this review in order to let everyone know how awesome he was. Joe was courteous and professional, yet friendly and accommodating. In addition, the fact that his prices are right on the website showed just what a transparent and upfront business he is running. I appreciated his candor while he answered my questions about the prearrangements for my mom's funeral.

We were in crisis when my father passed away. I had my elderly mother to worry about, so I didn't have as much time as I would like come up with appropriate funeral arrangements. I am grateful that Community Funeral Home showed up in my search. I called and to my surprise Joe F. the funeral director answered himself. I'm sure I sounded like a wreck, but he was compassionate, friendly and met with me on a snowy day to help make arrangements. By the time I left, I had absolute confidence that my father would be treated in a respectful manner.

He took time to explain how everything worked and he did everything he said he would do. My father was a veteran, so he made arrangements for military honors without me having to figure out how to do that. I was so relieved he could handle things outside of what the family wanted to have input in. He even took time to sit with my mom listening to her stories about my dad and how much he meant to her. I know how busy he is, but the extra time that he took with my mom gave her real piece of mind. He went so far above what we expected that I have trouble coming up with the words to thank him. We paid a reasonable price and got absolutely class A service. I don't know how we could have done better. Thank you, Joe and thank you to your staff at Community Funeral Home.
