Comfort Inn Red Hook

The hotel is located on an off street which may not be easy to find if you dont know ny. The parking is not included in the price and the lady at the front desk said we could park in front of the hotel but we ended up getting a $95 ticket the next morning when we woke up. When we were ironing clothes in the room the smoke alarm kept ringing and we ended up having to open the door every few minutes to cool the room off.

For a non smoking hotel there was a very strong smell of smoke throughout the hotel.

The overall stay was pleasant and the room was clear.

It was nice and clean and I would definitely stay there again.

There isn't a decent motel in bklyn. Lets face it BROOKLYN isn't MANHATTAN and the 4star places worth staying are in MANHATTAN. This place is no different. Stayed here for a weekend plus monday, lousy food, poor service, creepy neighborhood. Pass.

Wifi was free and really good throughout the hotel. Breakfast was included and was standard comfort in faire. But there was something off about this hotel. The smell of weed in the corridor? The fact that my "neighbour" got a lot of random visitors that called for very short periods of time and the loud shouting and running up and down the corridor in the middle of the night. Oh yeah, and someone stole my "do not disturb" sign during the night for their own door. I presume, not sure what else they would do with it.
Parking was free and though was not in a locked lot and was at street level, it seemed secure enough with a police station right across the road. It was cheap enough so nothing really to complain about. Staff were very friendly.
