Columbia Westside Pediatrics

Columbia Westside Pediatrics is a terrific practice with outstanding doctors and a great support staff. Unlike some of the negative reviews, we have only had positive experiences both with standard check-ups and with illnesses and ailments requiring more immediate attention.

The doctors in this practice are outstanding. Kind,thorough, and very sensitive to children,preteen, & teen
sensiblities. My daughter is very comfortable with all the doctors and appreciates their approach.

The front staff is the most unprofessional group of women I have ever seen, I think DMV has better customer service than this support staff. My 18 month old baby had a fever of over 102 degrees, I begged to get an appoinment and was told "NO, we are completely booked and the doctors must take lunch between 12-1 so you cant be seen". I explained that given his fever I was very scared and if I could please speak with a doctor. I was told one would call me back and I never recieved a phone call. After waiting 4 hours for a call back I took my son to the emergency room.

Another incident: I booked an appointment for my son two months in advance for a complete physical, I arrived at the office 35 minutes EARLIER than my scheduled appointment, I explained to them that my son had a very bad cough and I was concerned because he would cough for at least 2-3 mintues straight then vomit, I was told if they saw me any earlier, the doctors would not perform the complete physical and that it would be a seen as a "sick visit" and it would take another month before I could get an appointment for a physical so I needed to wait until my appointment time to be seen.

Needless to say, I am aggressively looking for another pediatrician and will NEVER return to Columbia Westside Pediatrics.

The friont desk people are extremley rude and unfriendly and you will realize that each time you visit you will see a different doctor and each will give you a different diagnosis!!! very inexperienced and unprofessional. I am appalled by the way these people work and have left them as quickly as possible. IF i could give less stars I would.
