I was not at all impressed with the selection of Columbia gear here. They didn't have a great selection of lanyards and of course had the obligatory ties and that kind of garbage. It's mostly just sweatshirts.
This is a pretty mundane book store and I wish Columbia didn't outsource it. They could have done a much more spirited job.

Offers anything a college student needs to buy - and more. Cons: everything is cheaper on Amazon - Pros: the Columbia branded clothes. Service is fast and efficient.

At summer I asked if they were going to host a discount during NSOP week. They said now. Turns out there's a 25% discount running on short sleeve tshirts. Thanks for making me waste my money and time

I ordered a used book to rent. It took them 4 days to confirm, that the book is on the way. I kept getting this very same email (stating, the book is on the way) everyday for 3 more days. I called and was promised the book for the next day (8 days after order). It was not there, furthermore I was told, used rental is not available. Thanks for telling me after 8 days of waiting. The one star goes to one very nice employee at the store actually trying to help me.

The bookstore offers anything a college student would need and be too lazy to go out an buy, including room supplies and stationary, books, clothing, and some food. However, because of the convenience, it is overpriced and appeals more to tourists than students themselves. Their towels are horrible quality, but the sweaters are comfy and soft, and most other things are good. If you're a visiting prospective student, it's worth checking out, but don't expect to find normal students shopping there. In the end, you're better off buying Columbia apparel there, but not much else. It's layout is like a typical Barnes and Noble.
