Best gym ive been to.. huge variety of equipment and space combined with a great selection of music..

I've been going for years, but the hire now plays nothing but vulgar rap all day, "Mother f**ker n***er b***h take it in the ass, N****r suck my D**k, etc." So as my membership runs out, I'm looking for a new gym in the area.

Pretty good gym.

I'm a powerlifter and they have all of the equipment I need to train with (mono-lift, deadlift bars, squat bars, competition benches, various specialty bars, GHR machine, bench press boards). They have plenty of benches. They have 4 flat benches for bench press (1 forza competition bench), 2 incline benches, 2 decline benches. They have a mono-lift, 2 regular squat racks and a power cage. They also have a dead lift platform with bumper plates.

This gym has a hardcore feel to it, with some hardcore people in it (you occasionally see a top level bodybuilder and there are some strong people here. Steroid use is rampant here. There are lots of people who think they are hardcore). This isn't the right place for you if you're looking for a gym with all new equipment, that is squeaky clean, and is crowded with hot girls (though there are quite a few cute ones). Most of the members are cool though intimidating at first. There are some pricks here but you will encounter them at every gym (though it seems to be a little more prevalent here, maybe too much Test). A good thing is people here generally know how to provide a good bench press spot.

Worst times to go here are generally at night from 5-8 but that's typical of most places.

I basically have four complaints about this place. One, the locker room is too small, especially with all the big bodies here. A plus is that you can leave your gear here. I leave all of my special training stuff here (resistance bands, chains) in a locked locker. Two, this place is very cliquey. Three, the owner Teddy is super annoying. He was literally harassing me for weeks about putting weights away when I literally just got to the gym! Four, the gym tries to portray itself as being hardcore, yet the music here sucks. I want heavy metal or some hardcore rap when I workout, instead they blast Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry and a bunch of other crap music. If you have a chance check out Metroflex gym in LA, now that's a hardcore gym.

Great gym, with lot's of equipment

It has helped me break plateaus and reach my goals. Great atmosphere for strength and conditioning. Has everything for fitness, bodybuilding, powerlifting, and strongman.
