I had bought Gucci Frames from this store, a couple of years ago. The left stem piece that connects the frames to the piece that goes around your ear fell off and I wanted it fixed. When I showed the owner the glasses he said it was impossible to fix. I was told that he could either send it to Gucci for $350.00 and wait 6 weeks for new stems or get new glasses. I decided to look at new glasses. I found a nice pair for $250.00, only he refuses to uses the lenses I already had from my gucci glasses and wanted to charge me another $200.00 for new reflective glasses. Not knowing at the time what a mistake this was, I put my CC down. As I was sitting down waiting for them to be cleaned, I did a quick google check and found out everything I was told was BOGUS. I quickly got up and asked the manager to cancel the order, I did not want the glasses anymore. He told me it was too late (a whole 5 minutes had passed at this point) he would not cancel the order and if I had a problem I should deal with my CC company. I now have a dispute opened up with this store, I found a guy in New Hyde Park (See World Optics, who I definitely recommend over this store) to replace the stem for $30.00. The guy from See World could not believe the scam that was being pulled here. Unfortunately I still have to wait to hear from my CC as to the resolution of this ridiculous ripoff.

Avoid these lying cheats. The blonde haired manager here is one of the most despicable people I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. My $475 Gucci frames broke within 30 days of purchase but I was told there was no possible way to repair them. I simply had to buy another pair. I looked online and found several specialists who were able to repair the frames for under $30, including shipping to and from the service center.

Rip off! Never opened and when I asked for them to fax over my information to another place, they didn't do it.... Save money and go somewhere else.

They will rip you off, no question. Shop knowing you will pay well over the Manufactures Recommended Retail Price. They also were not honest with me about the frame and lens color on a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses. I went to the manufactures website and the frame certainly does come in black as well as brown - and for $30 less .For Cohen Optical in Rockville Centre it is all about making the sale at that moment and with what they have in stock. So much for friendly accommodating service!!
