Cohen's Fashion Optical - Garden State Plaza

The most unprofessional, unhelpful and uneducated Cohen's I have ever been to. First things first, they advertised a $99 eye exam but in actuality they don't tell you if you have an astigmatism, they charge you triple the price. I the manager was on his phone the whole time, we were asking him about frames. He did not want to help us out in anyway and he had an attitude, like it wasn't his job,to do his job. The optomotrist is not an optomogist, and the doctor was rude and barely looked at my eyes. After the horrible experience I tried not to renew my contacts there. A year after the eye exam, the refused to refill my prescription and demanded I pay for a new eye exam. I was Just TRYING TO GET A REFILL! I THEY ARE SCAMERS, DISHONEST AND OVERALL BAD BUSINESS MEN! GO TO LENS CRAFTER ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE MALL. Save yourself the headache! GO ANYWHERE BUT THERE! I HOPE THIS SAVE YOU FROM THE NIGHTMARE I WENT THROUGH. ZERO STARS!!!! WORST SERVICE EVER. Wow

Dr Marc Gordon is very dishonest. Cohen's Fashion Optical did not help a very bad situation concerning Marc Gordon, stating he was an independent contractor, so they are not responsible for his actions, even though he was the optometrist who works in their store.
To make a long story short, I paid $160.00 for a contact lens prescription which was never given to me. Cohen's fired Marc Gordon during the 2 week period that he wanted me to try various lenses at home. He left the store with all of the medical records and refused to release them to me and to his other patients.
I paid $160 to wait in their store for a long time before being examined, I drove back 2 weeks later to pick up my prescription only to find out that I had to go to another doctor and pay for a new eye exam.
Stay far away from Cohen's Fashion Optical and "DR" Marc Gordon.

Cohen's Fashion Optical at this location charged me a $59.99 copay for a basic exam, even though I am fully insured.

Overpriced product. Overpriced exams. A yuppy decor and indifferent Israeli staff does not justify ripping people off.
